Discussion? Decoration rather that communication? Ethnic origin? Personal expression? Backgrounds? Values? Are we defined by where we are born? How can we quantify the origin, culture, tradition, opinion, ideas, religion or political beliefs? The only way this can be defined is by means of mathematical formulas in order to calculate percentages.
It’s all about numbers. Reality is vast, reality is huge but finite; reality is numerical.
Emotions are statistics.

Folch Studio was born five years ago in the city of Barcelona, directed and managed by Albert Folch and Omar Sosa. It specializes in editorial design, art direction, publicity, corporate identity, and now websites as well, through collaboration with Miquel Polidano, Carol Montpart, Isa Merino, Eduardo Iborra and Ricardo Félix Virto.
Since 2005, the studio’s work has been nominated for several LAUS awards and in 2008 it won two of them. Moreover the studio’s work has been selected for the Daniel Gil Awards in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and received an award in 2007.
The studio has been featured in many national and international publications. The photographer Nacho Alegre, Marco Velardi, Omar Sosa and Albert Folch are the editors of Apartamento Magazine, a magazine that covers what interior design magazines have never worried about.
