The Opening
At long last, here’s the video of the opening.
At long last, here’s the video of the opening.
The video editing is taking a bit longer than anticipated (OK we’re a bit swamped in the studio right now). Won’t be long.
The show is down; the prints have sold out. We’re happy.
The show is still up for 3 days. We are almost entirely sold out of posters. There are no copies of the monograph left and we’re happily starting to think about our next little project. Thanks again to all the artists, sponsors, collectors and supporters of all kinds. We couldn’t have done it without you and your interest in the project.
The video of the private view should be completed and uploaded early next week. Stay tuned!
Thank you to Andrea Marks for trekking up to Vancouver from Portland to introduce her excellent film on the history of Polish posters Freedom on the Fence. It was enjoyed by all in attendance. Additional thanks go to everyone who came on a Friday before a long weekend (yes, all the best laid plans . . .) and to the Graphic Designers of Canada—specifically Marga Lopez and Mark Busse—for getting the word out and facilitating the ticket sales.
We’re selling the last few posters and the show will be up until 17 October. Go take a look before it’s too late!
